Rob Hill attacking the pantry of doom. We all know that canned foods can eventually blow up if left unattended for 6 or more years. Rob and I were warned to glove up,wear face masks, and have proper ventalation. It has been 4 hours since we dived in. We still have all our fingers and toes.

Along with the Hazmat cleaning of the exploded canned goods we also came across many historic food labels. Rita suggested we open a museum or better yet lets put them on ebay and see what we can get for them!!! Any bids??

While Rob continued with the pantry (rganizing, tossing, controlling cross contamination), Jim had some friends from work (Tom and Brice)stop by for a chat.

  1. Jim, Brice and I really enjoyed seeing you this afternoon. You were looking great. A far cry from a couple of days ago. You are so much in our thoughts and prayers. I will be talking to you soon to seen if you need anything. Don't hesitate to call.

  2. Jim-
It is odd how you don't really realize how much people mean to you until they get sick. You are a good friend and mentor and mean more to me than I probably ever let you know. It was great to see you on saturday and really great to see all the support you have. I guess great people just attract great people. Hang in there with all this radiation, does that mean you will glow in the dark?

  3. Jimbo--

Laurie and I are in Mexico and this keyboard isn´t much like Í´m used to, but I´m attempting a blog log here anyway.

This blog site is great. A good Jim community log-in site. It has given me alot of laughs with the talk about your pantry being a hazmat site, etc. And you thought that I was rough on you.....your kids are really tough. It´s a way we show our love for you, seriously.

Laurie and I are sending you strength, light, prayers, and love from afar. We´re looking forward to seeing you when we return on the 31st, apparently after your last radiation treatment.

    See you soon,

    Laurie and Joseph
